Universities serve as the lighthouse of human civilization, inherit knowledge and culture, as well as educate young talents. As we reflect on the tremendous changes to the university and the profound challenges that universities face in the 21st century - such as global warming and health emergencies - Global Forum of University Presidents 2022 will bring together leaders of more than hundred universities; explore emerging aspirations for global higher education. It also supports greater levels of collaboration.
The main goal of this Forum, via the collaborations between China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), China Association for Management of Technology (CAMOT), Research Centre for Technology and Innovation, Tsinghua University and United Nation Academic Impact (UNAI), is to explore the new normal and rethinking of the global trends, opportunities and challenges of the universities and colleges in the global higher education sector in the post COVID-19 era, inspire current and strategic thinking, provide a platform for exploring linkages and mechanisms, and explore appropriate and effective modes of delivering sustainability without compromising the mission and vision of the universities.
Elite Innovation College in Cambridge (EICC), UK has been successfully organizing annual GUPF since 2008 and Global Innovation Webinar (GIW) series since early 2021, which has become global events in addressing issues in higher education with innovation solutions and attracted high-profile speakers, university presidents, chancellors, innovators, social and technology entrepreneurs, Politian and investors, etc. as well as global participants. The authors will be notified on the acceptance by October 30th, 2022. Post-deadline papers with recent results are requested by November 15th, 2022. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding.
